You can leave your viewers with a lasting image or message by displaying a custom image after your video finishes. The image that is displayed after your video finishes is called the EndFrame.
By default, the EndFrame is the last frame of your video. Follow the steps below to display a custom EndFrame instead.
Displaying a custom EndFrame does not extend your video timeline or impact performance metrics.
Before you start
- Create an expanding In-Banner Video creative or a non-expanding In-Banner Video creative with a custom StartFrame. For steps, see Assembling a creative from a template or Assembling a creative from scratch.
- Prepare the image that you want to display. For information about the types of images that you can upload, see Supported file formats.
To display a custom image at the end of a video
- Navigate to the Division, Account, and Campaign of the creative.
- Click the Campaign Management tab, then click the Creatives tab.
- Click Edit for the creative. The Mixpo Studio opens.
- Click the Timeline Canvas tab.
- On the visual timeline at the bottom of the Timeline Canvas tab, select the video.
- Click the Video tab.
- Click Choose custom EndFrame, then upload the image that you want to display.
Tip: You can display an image that you extract from your video. For steps to extract an image, see Extracting images from a video file. - In the Video Transition and Effects area, do the following:
- From the Transition type drop-down list, select how you want the EndFrame to appear after your video finishes.
- For the Transition time to next media element, specify the length of time that you want the transition from the video to the EndFrame to take, in seconds.
- Click Save.
- To test that the creative appears the way that you want it to, return to the Mixpo Platform and click Preview.
To delete the custom image at the end of a video
- Navigate to the Division, Account, and Campaign of the creative.
- Click the Campaign Management tab, then click the Creatives tab.
- Click Edit for the creative. The Mixpo Studio opens.
- Click the Timeline Canvas tab.
- On the visual timeline at the bottom of the Timeline Canvas tab, select the video.
- Click the Video tab.
- In the Video Properties area, click the Delete icon
next to the image preview.
- Click Save.
- To test that the creative appears the way that you want it to, return to the Mixpo Platform and click Preview.
