A widget allows you to quickly add interactive, professional quality content to an ad. Widgets provide a wide range of functionality that encourages viewers to engage with the ad, such as animation, live feeds, and interactive content.

Some examples of how you can use a widget include:

• An ad promoting the lottery includes a dynamic widget that displays each day's winning numbers.
• A politician's ad includes a widget that displays a Twitter feed of the campaign's latest tweets.
• An insurance company includes a Search widget in their ad. When viewers search for their zip codes, they are sent to the appropriate "Find an Agent Near You" page on the company's website.
• A retailer includes a Search widget in their ad. When viewers search for a product name, they are sent to a results page in the retailer's online catalog.

You can add and configure a variety of standard widgets. You can also create and upload your own widget. For requirements and steps to upload a custom widget, contact Client Services.

Warning: Although you can assign an action to some widgets, Mixpo recommends that you keep the default settings. Adding an action to a widget can disable the functionality of the widget. If you change the action assigned to a widget, make sure you test the widget to verify that it behaves correctly.
