An ad tag is a piece of code that is inserted into a website. The website determines which ad to display by looking for the ad that is associated with the ad tag.
You generate an ad tag when you assign a creative to a placement. To publish an ad, you retrieve the ad tag and incorporate it into the website or ad network where you are running your campaign.
Before you start
- Assign a creative to each placement whose ad tag you want to retrieve. For steps, see Assigning a creative to a placement.
To retrieve an ad tag1. Navigate to the appropriate Division, Account, and Campaign
2. Click the Campaign Management tab, then click the Placements tab.
3. Select the check box next to each placement whose ad tag you want to retrieve, then click Pull tags. The ad tags are downloaded as a text file.
4. Provide the ad tags to your ad trafficking team to publish the ad.
