Your creative will have the best quality if your video meets these requirements:

• Frames per second: 30
• Resolutions:
  • 640 × 480 pixels (4:3)
  • 1280 × 960 pixels (4:3)
  • 1280 × 720 pixels (16:9)
• Bit rate: 1 megabit per second
• Length: No practical limit but consider the attention span of your viewers and the subject matter. Most ads run from 15 to 30 seconds.

Note: It may take a long time to upload a large file.

Image

• Bitmap (.bmp)
• JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg)
• Portable Network Graphics (.png)
• Graphics Interchange Format (.gif)

Depending on how you want to use the image, the maximum file sizes are as follows:

• Image files added as overlays to In-Banner Video creatives, In-Stream Video creatives, and Rich Media creatives: 500 MB
• Image files used to create an Image creative: 1 MB

The higher the quality of your original image files, the better the results.

Widget

A widget allows you to add interactive, professional quality content to an ad. Widgets support feeds, such as Twitter, RSS, and XML, and so on. For requirements and steps to upload a custom widget, contact Client Services.

Flash SWF files:

• Maximum file size: 500 MB
• Note: You can upload SWF files compiled for all versions of the Adobe® Flash® Player. However, widgets compiled for Flash Player version 10 or higher cannot be placed on StartFrames and will not appear in ads viewed on mobile devices.
